Homer Spit 2

Homer Spit 2

Part small boat harbor but mostly a tourist trap, the Homer Spit is a 4.5-mile sliver of land jutting out from mainland Homer, AK, into Kachemak Bay. The peninsula is very thin and very low lying, so everal buildings are propped up on stilts.
